Free boiler grants are now available under the new ECO scheme for 2018 where landlord/tenants and privately owned properties with qualifying boilers (generally about 12+ years old) could be replaced totally free of charge or be massively subsidised. Please note, your old boiler needs to be below certain efficiency levels mandated by OFGEM (Office of Gas and Electricity Markets) to qualify for this grant. Or the boiler needs to be completely broken down and beyond economical repair.
